Artist Statement:
This painting depicts a heart shaped expression like that of the sacred heart that calls to capture us. The window like light areas may depict an opening of the heart or sanctuary. The cross hatching brushstrokes resemble a fish new that is open and offers freedom and the same time containing something important…and the burst of colours joy that flows from being captured. From this heart a hopeful light of white rays radiates peace. Originally painted in Acrylic by Jane Appleby
