Artist’s Statement: This contemporary expressions are the colourful movements that I felt flowing from the top of mountains through streams and into the valleys and oceans- not only in the surrounding landscape but in our hearts. The vibrant colour repetitions and textures are also reminiscent a musical score.
The Original 30 x 40 oil was painted with much joy on Galiano Island. The rhythmic movements were inspired by the distant view of the North Shore mountains, the ocean, streams, clouds, sunshine and the exuberant emotions of the day by the seashore.
