Artist’s Statement:
The original oil on canvas board was painted at the top of Whistler Mountain where the sparkling lake and sunlit peaks were the inspirations of the day as well as a place to reflect on how nature moves us. This was the start to expressive painting on location and beginning of what Jane calls Lyrical Expressions, where the music of the landscape and emotional response to it was the main focus.
