Introduction
Anyone can paint. Yes, even you… All it takes is a brush and a purpose.
The purpose can be many things of course and often starts as a desire to capture something or someone in a certain way. But it can also be play, expression, liberation and revelation. In fact, for many artists, exploring the way they paint is an essential path to creativity and their unique style. It can also be a lot of fun.
Our purpose in painting may not always be obvious. However, we can make purposeful brushstrokes and discover that we are all artists in some way.
To help you out, I have put together these words and pictures which I see as steps in the walk of an artist.
